Principal Biostatistician
About the job
We are currently supporting a global leader in the CRO space, with their search for a Principal Biostatistician to support their Biostatistics function.
As a Principal Biostatistician for this business, you will play a pivotal role, partnering with several global leading Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Biotechnology businesses on FSP and/or Project based roles.
Your role will involve overseeing a number of key studies, acting as a key point of contact for sponsors and also mentoring junior statisticians.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Principal Statistician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Offer key statistical input/advice on Phase I-IV clinical trial studies, across one or more therapeutic area.
2. Act as a lead statistician for studies, overseeing junior statisticians work.
3. Liaise with the Programming and Data management teams, as well as program using SAS/R.
4. Act as a key point of contact for sponsors and regulatory bodies.
