Charterhouse is working with a leading education provider to recruit a Mathematics and Computing to be based in Bahrain. Our client is a global leader in delivering transformative learning experiences for international students, guiding them towards academic excellence and successful careers.
This role is an excellent overseas opportunity for a Mathematics & Computing teacher. The Tutor will contribute to the design, development and production of teaching and learning materials, ensuring effective delivery across a range of computer science modules equivalent of SCQF level 7.
This role will entail preparing and delivering teaching lectures, seminars, and tutorial sessions with variable hours up to 25 hours per week. The Tutor will also be in charge of writing, preparing and grading examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessments.
Additional responsibilities include offering feedback to students, providing tutorials, writing regular student reports as well as developing and updating course material for modules including module for the virtual learning environment. The Tutor will also participate in governance structures, attending all compulsory meetings and participating in regular training and development activities.
