Charterhouse is working with a global leader in providing a transformational learning experience for international students and helping them on their way to academic success and rewarding careers. Our client is looking to hire a Mathematics and Chemistry Tutor, to be based in Bahrain. Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available or on short notice.
This role is an excellent overseas opportunity for a STEM Tutor responsible for teaching predominantly Mathematics and Chemistry modules to students on preparatory programmes including undergraduate foundation and pre-masters.
The Tutor will be responsible to prepare and deliver programmes including synchronous and asynchronous input for pre-recorded lectures, weekly tasks, live input, seminars/ tutorial sessions and drop-ins, write and prepare module examinations, along with marking rubrics and other forms of formative and summative assessment. In addition, this role will contribute to designing, delivering and developing modules offered by the school as well as develop and update course material for modules and teaching sessions.
Additional responsibilities will involve directly supporting students and contributing to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the Centre, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and staying updated with virtual learning environment (VLE) technology.
