About the job

Position Title: Risk Management Officer



KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



 Risk Management:


Develop and maintain governance frameworks, standards, and practices relating to risk governance and effectively implement them throughout the company. 
Develop and implement processes to assess and/or monitor the effectiveness of risk governance frameworks/adherence to standards as appropriate
Support the maintenance of Risk related Mandates and Charters and ensure their ongoing relevance;
Act as an internal expert and develop the company’s capability around risk governance and decision processes aligned with the CBB Rule Book and company operating model, and risk policy &strategy;
 Review and evaluate systems and processes to determine adequacy of controls, operational inefficiencies, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, or management policies or procedures.
Developing and implementing testing and audit plans that address the risks identified.
Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management plans.
Assist in updating existing and developing new divisions' policies and procedures about risk management


Maintain coordination and completion of all government, regulatory, and compliance documents for the company.
Work collaboratively with other corporate oversight functions to identify and implement consistent and effective approaches to risk governance and control-based activities;
 Provide clear and concise documentation of work performed, issues identified, and recommendations noted using oral and written forms of communication.
Research industry-leading practices for risk governance matters about the Stock Exchange & Financial industry including board practices relating to risk governance.
