Job description:
Senior BD Manager within the Offshore Wind Business Division is believed to be an important needle mover in achieving Wison New Energies’ vision and mission which is “Enabling a Greener Future” for generations. The candidate is expected to be a self-managing, a great doer as well as thinker. We hope the candidate has great ambition on the one hand, also has necessary resilience, patience as well as stable emotional state on the other hand when significant challenges arise. We are seeking a person who shares similar passion, values with us so that we together can achieve great things on a long run.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Plan and develop demo, commercial, industrial, investment FOW project opportunities in Europe markets.
- Responsible for market intelligence incl. policies (incl. tax, duties, laws and regulations), new product & solutions, trends, various partnerships in the markets, etc.
- Initiate and facilitate collaboration with regional scientific research institute associated with FOW incl. MET centers, universities, laboratories, etc.
- Customer relationship development and maintenance.
- Lead and close liaison with multidisciplinary teams internally and externally in various project stages.
- Lead team on client’s qualification process, tendering process, contract negotiation, partnership agreements, etc.
- Not only be able to develop opportunities, make progress but also be able to close deals.
- The candidate expects to have overall knowledge of offshore wind turbines, foundation, mooring, cables, transportation and installation, ports, project economics, O&M, etc.
- Close liaison with T&I engineer and project manager as well as teams in China in developing, fostering and establishing strategic partnership with global suppliers.
