About the job
JOB PURPOSE:
Analyze business and data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex problems, and system issues. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and processing limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:
Coordinate with users to define/analyze their business needs and requirements.
Work with IT or business team members to provide recommendations and solutions to meet business needs.
Recommend new hardware or software packages to maintain/upgrade systems.
Provide staff and users with assistance solving system-related problems.
Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent.
Define the goals of the system and develop flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.
Develop new or modify existing systems to meet changing business requirements.
Test, maintain, and monitor IT systems.
Document system design, test procedures, and quality standards. Create system guidelines and manuals for the organization.
Analyze data, identify patterns and trends in data, and use conclusions to answer business questions. Communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop reports to aid decision making (i.e., dashboard, KPIs, etc.).
