This position is with a successful Game development company. You will join as a Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development of free-to-play MMORPG games for PC and console.
You will work with a talented group of software engineers to design, build, and maintain exceptional gameplay systems and robust tools. This role involves defining and implementing new features while supporting existing tools and pipelines.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with technical managers to design and implement new features and updates.
Work closely with other engineers across different teams.
Partner with the game team QA to develop test plans for new releases.
Develop and maintain backend services.
Handle infrastructure tasks, including builders, packaging, and patching.
Work on low-level shared utility code, such as encryption, logging, and networking.
Monitor the health of live games, including client/server crashes and errors.
Own and enhance gameplay systems, including AI and UI elements.
Setup and maintain builders and packaging tools.
