Cyber Security - Technical Analyst
About the job
We're looking for an innovative hands-on Technical Cyber Security Analyst with a unique combination of skills who wants to play a major role in tackling climate change.
You’ll be joining our IT team which provides IT services to our remote and global workforce. You’ll be working closely with the Cyber Security Manager with a main goal to assist in protecting our people, data and systems, as well as with other IT Team members, by guiding them on how to best implement technical security controls in their day to day work. This role, just like any other role within the Foundation, will require you to think outside of the box and come up with innovative solutions to the problems that may be new to you.

How you'll contribute
Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure, applications and devices for security threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and configure security alerts and notifications to proactively detect and respond to security incidents.
Investigate and mitigate security incidents and breaches.
Support Cyber Security Manager or other IT team members in security-related projects, ensuring security best practices are integrated into our cloud architecture.
Act as a security mentor within the IT Team, by providing technical security expertise and training, where needed.
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address weaknesses.
Develop and maintain security procedures and standards.
Develop and maintain security automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, incidents and procedures.
Proactively propose solutions to improve the Foundation’s security posture.
