About the role
As a Product Owner/Business Analyst, your primary responsibility is to drive a product roadmap for a SaaS-based platform which provides residency and fellowship matching services to specialties and subspecialties across the spectrum of medicine. You will be asked to gain a deep understanding of industry domain and key business metrics to generate new product ideas. This position will work cooperatively with business stakeholders and the engineering team as well as sales. A high degree of independence and excellent communication skills are expected.
Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of the industry domain, user experience, and key business
drivers of a SaaS-based product to generate new product ideas for improving
customer experience and driving growth
Manage and drive the product roadmap by analyzing business requirements,
customer-oriented and business-focus metrics, competitor studies, and recent trends in
HR-Tech
Tightly collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to support agile
product delivery by contributing to sprint and release cycles
Own and manage the product backlog by defining user stories, prioritizing product
features, reviewing test case development and architecture design
Monitor the availability of new technology and software applications to develop new data
tools that will enhance the matching experience
Create user flows, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes,
prototypes, detailed UI and visual design specifications, and engage with UI/UX
designer on mockups
