Reporting to: Market General Manager
Role overview
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in the Market front of house, back of house and Vendor Kitchens and Kiosks. Preparing and executing preventative maintenance schedules. Contracting with suppliers and vendors to perform necessary tasks to ensure the daily operation and safety of the market and our guests. Performing repairs on all MEP and public appearance areas.
Responsibilities
Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the Market, planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns.
Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects.
Responds to all building related safety concerns and breakdowns
Supports Market (CMMS) computerised maintenance management system and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Supervises all additional maintenance associates.
Assists Market Management in specifying proper supplies and equipment to stock to ensure daily operations of the market.
