About the Role
We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Go Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract. You'll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our core Go applications. This is a remote position open to candidates based in Europe or Latin America.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and performant Go applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews and participate in pair programming sessions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Go and related technologies.
Participate in the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a professional Go developer.
Strong understanding of Go concurrency, channels, and goroutines.
Experience with building and deploying microservices architecture.
Experience with unit testing frameworks like Go test.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
