Quality Assurance Engineer
About the job
RE Partners is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join a brand new team that will will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Data Engineering solutions. You will collaborate closely with our data engineering and development teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. This position requires a strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts including Machine Learning/AI algorithms, and experience with testing in a GCP environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute manual test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our Data Engineering and Machine Learning/AI solutions.
Collaborate with the Data Engineering and Development teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
Identify and document software defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
Provide clear and concise reports on test results and participate in project status meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a focus on testing Data Engineering and Machine Learning/AI solutions.
Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts and Machine Learning/AI algorithms.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.
Experience using testing tools such as JIRA and Xray.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
