About the job
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the Sabre Global Distribution System to book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
Construct custom travel packages that align with the clients' preferences, budget, and requirements, ensuring a seamless and memorable travel experience.
Provide knowledgeable travel advice and stay up-to-date on travel trends, destinations, regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
Offer exceptional customer service to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and cultivate repeat business.
Engage in consultative selling, understanding the clients' needs to offer the best possible options and upsell when appropriate.
Liaise with tour operators, airlines, and other service providers to secure bookings and negotiate favorable rates and terms.
Handle travel documentation, including visas, travel insurance, and any required travel advisories or inoculation requirements.
Address and resolve any travel-related issues that may arise before, during, or after the trip.
Maintain detailed records of bookings, payments, and confirmations using the Sabre system and other relevant software.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in Sabre technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance system proficiency and service delivery.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Travel Agent, with a strong background in creating multi-faceted travel packages.
Proficiency in the Sabre Global Distribution System for ticketing, booking, and itinerary management.
