Job Overview:
As a Senior QA Engineer at Ligadata, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge Big Data Analytics Platform & solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain a robust testing framework, contribute to the development of automated testing scripts, and champion quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design effective test plans.
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, including regression, performance and security testing.
Design, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts.
Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.
Debugging and troubleshooting issues within the big data ecosystem
Familiarity with Big data technologies like (Hadoop, hive, presto etc.)
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability of features.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, framework and methodologies.
Hands-on experience in QA Automation Framework development & Design.
Identifies issues and technical interdependencies and suggests possible solutions.
Recreate complex customer and production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
