About the job
Job Purpose:
Assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to the legal department
Responsibilities
▪ Edit and proofread legal documentation.
▪ Administrative support to the Legal Department.
▪ Assist in completing legal procedures and ensure that the entity is fully up to date with its legal requirements.
▪ Assist in representations and responses with external legal entities such as TRA, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Interior, etc.
▪ Organizing, filing and arranging key legal documentation.
▪ Assisting in the Investigation of key case facts and liaison with external legal firms for all pending cases (labour, commercial, etc..).
▪ Conducting legal research and drafts as required by the legal department.▪ Acting as commissioners for oaths for the swearing of legal documents
▪ Attending court to provide documentation and statements, if necessary
▪ Issuing writs and tasking summonses
▪ Negotiating on behalf of the company
▪ Analyzing, researching and summarizing legal information
▪ Interviewing and advising clients and witnesses
▪ Keeping up to date with changing legislation
▪ Explaining complex legal matters to clients
