Rust Developer
About the job
Job Title: Rust Developer
Duration: 12 months with potential extension
Location: Remote 100 %, anywhere from the world.
Time zone: Min 4 hours overlap with PST time zone
Working hours: Fulltime 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
No travel required.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Rust code.
Work with various stakeholders to define and deliver new features and services.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security.
Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve code issues, ensuring continuous system stability.
Uphold and enhance code quality through writing clean code and performing code reviews.
Participate actively in design discussions and contribute to the advancement of our development processes.
Keep abreast of the latest Rust updates and integrate new tools and techniques into the development workflow.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to facilitate seamless deployment and operation of Rust applications.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in Rust development or similar system-level programming roles.
Strong understanding of Rust's ownership model, memory management, and concurrency patterns.
Solid grasp of software engineering principles and system architecture.
Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
Proficient in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
