About the job
Gulf Data Centre Association is working with a well-established European construction consultancy client that is currently looking to hire a Senior Project Manager, ideally a qualified surveyor, for its Data Centre projects in the GCC region.
As the first hire in the region, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and self-starting individual to shape and drive the business's success and play a key role in team expansion.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage data centre project management services, ensuring on-time
and within-budget delivery.
• Lead end-to-end project life cycles, from initial planning to implementation and
completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project
goals.
• Develop and implement efficient project management methodologies.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and execute contingency plans.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients in the GCC region.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management and propose solutions to
complex challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
Qualifications
• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in Project Management, ideally in data centre industry.
• Qualified surveyor or currently working towards qualification.
