Corporate Tax Manager
About the job
Grant Thornton Bahrain is expanding their Tax Advisory team and looking to hire candidates at managerial level. As an integral member of the Tax Advisory team, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in business development efforts and delivery of engagements. Offer advisory support on a broad range of tax-related issues and liaise with government entities.
Primary Duties
Deliver a full range of tax advisory services in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.
Provide innovative tax planning and review complex tax returns.
Identify risks, manage tax exposures, and mitigate tax risks by providing tax planning, structuring, and highlighting tax implications.
Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
Manage and coordinate tax audits.
Inform management of changes in the tax environment, as well as the ramifications of tax legislation changes.
Manage and lead the tax advisory team.
Decision Making Authority
In coordination with Senior Manager, Director & Partners.
Supervisory Responsibility
Strong client relations and ability to perform new jobs.
Recognize and evaluate the materiality and significance of tax related issues and recommend appropriate means for obtaining compliance.
Ability to gain cooperation of clients in completing the audit and in implementing the recommendations contained in the audit report.
Have responsibility and enjoy the challenges of various industries.
