About the job
A well-backed, high-growth DeFi business is building an innovative cross-chain platform.
Seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer in a division lead role, reporting to the Head of Engineering.
Prior Web3 and Blockchain company experience is essential. Great opportunity in rapid scale-up businesses. Fully remote across Europe & UK.
The Tech Stack:
Utilize a tech stack consisting of Node.js running TypeScript code in Docker containers.
MongoDB and Redis for data management.
ethers.js for blockchain communication
GitHub, Kubernetes, AWS, and CloudFlare for the GitOps CD chain.
The Role:
Ensure robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions that handle growing user loads and evolving business needs.
Maintain high coding standards, conduct code reviews, and enforce best code maintainability and readability practices.
Identify bottlenecks and optimise code and algorithms to enhance system performance.
Implement monitoring and debugging tools to identify and resolve issues, proactively ensuring high system availability.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability of backend systems.
