About the job
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our bakery and Pastry departments. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery and Pastry departments operations, including menu development, recipe creation, food production, staff management, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the bakery and pastry departments with creativity, passion, and excellence.
· Conceptualize and create new products, taking into consideration taste, texture, presentation, and market trends.
· Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including recipe development, ingredient sourcing, and quality control.
· Mentor and inspire a team of pastry chefs and bakers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Ensure adherence to high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen.
· Stay updated on industry trends, emerging ingredients, and culinary techniques relevant to bakery and dessert offerings.
