Legal Counsel
About the job
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of commercial matters, including IP, negotiations, agreements, and legal dispute.
Advise either as a claimant or a defendant in cases.
Preparing all documents required to file cases including briefs, pleadings, and court documents.
Work closely with external legal counsel and advise management on legal issues related to transactions, disputes, and litigation.
Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast – environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors’ degree in law and bar qualification.
6-8 years post- qualification in a law firm or relevant corporate environment.
Strong understanding of UAE corporate and commercial Law.
Ability to manage case files, claims and litigation.
Advocacy skills an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning and organizing skills.
Excellent time and stress management skills.
Fluent in English and Arabic (verbal and written).
Arabic is must.
