Role:

Audit Quality is all about ensuring consistency in the execution of audits and the related deliverables to enable relevant stakeholders to maintain confidence in the independent assurance provided by an external audit. Within its ambit, Audit Quality includes various workstreams for instance second line of defense reviews, root cause analysis, real time monitoring etc.
KPMG Bahrain is looking for a qualified individual specifically for second line of defense reviews.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Utilizes the cumulative audit experience gained over the years, in conducting second line of defense reviews for selected audit engagements.
Project manage and regularly report on the status update of second line of defense reviews, ensuring completion of second line of defense reviews within the pre-set timescales and explaining variances.
Perform a thematic study of audit issues arising from second line of defense reviews and conduct a root cause analysis for focal issues.
Assisting with the preparation and presentation of training to engagement audit teams on trends identified during the 2LoD reviews
Assist in reporting 2LoD review results to key stakeholders within the business
