The Senior Contracts Specialist helps accelerate E2open’s success by providing practical, creative, critical, thoughtful, and quick answers to key contractual questions. The Senior Contracts Specialist is a sophisticated negotiator who can draft, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements. The Senior Contract Specialist assists with the continuous development of the contract function and its processes. E2open’s Legal function is diligent and proactive and works cross-functionally with all areas of the company in a collaborative, collegial, fast-paced, global team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write, review, draft, and negotiate complex and unique SaaS agreements, software license agreements, order forms, service level agreements, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and contract addenda.
Identify terms that vary from corporate standards to ensure accuracy and compliance, recommend appropriate modifications, engage, and collaborate with internal stakeholders in sales, professional services, legal, product management, support, and other internal organizations.
Assist with the establishment of initiatives for contracts function, including contracting tools and processes, legal language library, reference materials, and playbooks.
Provide training to salespersons on how to distinguish commercial and legal terms and tips for negotiating the commercial terms.
Act as a liaison between internal and external customers to efficiently drive the contract review and approval process to its conclusion.
Mentor junior contract specialists.
