F&O Functional Consultant
About the job
AppTainable is working with an international IT management service who are expanding globally. They have an upcoming internal implementation project across their company group, with this they are in need for an experienced D365 F&O Consultant to oversee this.
Responsibilities
Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify areas of improvement, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
Engage with clients to understand their financial processes, pain points, and business objectives. Translate these requirements into functional specifications and design solutions that align with D365 F&O capabilities.
Lead or participate in the implementation of D365 F&O modules related to finance, such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
Configure the system to meet the client's specific financial requirements.
Provide training to end-users on how to effectively use D365 F&O for financial tasks such as journal entries, financial inquiries, and month-end close processes.
Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to address user issues and inquiries.
Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of D365 F&O within the finance department and across the organization. Communicate changes effectively and address resistance by highlighting benefits and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success as a F&O Consultant.
Preferably, you will possess at least 5 years of experience with F&O/D365.
Extensive functional understanding of ERP systems and business processes, especially in finance.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
Possession of relevant certifications in F&O is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of financial processes.
