Senior Accountant Opportunity in Bahrain – Drive Accuracy, Control, and Financial Success 

Responsibilities

• Operate accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data

• Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial transactions

• Comply with Bahraini financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and schedules

• Monitor cash flow planning and ensure timely payments to vendors and follow-up with debtors

• Maintain effective budget control and compare actuals vs. forecasts

• Support both statutory and internal audits

• Maintain registers and schedules (fixed assets, prepaid, provisions)

• Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and process related government payments

• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets

• Reconcile revenues against receipts and ensure timely deposit and accurate system entry

• Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed

• Compute tax liabilities and prepare returns in compliance with relevant tax requirements
