Trademark Associate
Job Description:
1. Draft, negotiate, interpret, and give advice on agreements and contracts related to intellectual property (IP)
2. Drafting Intellectual Property claims, appeals, oppositions, notices and subpoena before the trademark office.
3. Oversee and monitor the company’s trademark and patent portfolio both domestic and international.
4. Responsible for clearance reviews, application of registrations, and providing timely responses or taking actions necessary to maintain registration.
5. Assist with franchising, distribution, and licensing.
6. Advises the business on all aspects of IP such as brand and copyright clearance, brand protection and enforcement, IP aspects of new ventures, marketing campaigns and product launches
7. Manages IP litigation
8. Handles IP infringement issues, including online takedowns, drafting and sending or responding to cease-and-desist letters, and preparing settlement agreements
9. Works with external IP advisers
10. Provides input on IP strategy
Job Requirements:
11. Bachler's Degree in Law or any other related field.
12. Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with trademarks and copyrights.
13. Must have at least 5+ years experience in IP/Trademarks preferably in the Fashion Retail Industry.
14. Excellent communication skill both written and verbal. (English)
15. Must relocate to UAE, the head office is in DUBAI.

4. مسؤول عن مراجعات التخليص وتطبيق التسجيلات وتقديم الاستجابات في الوقت المناسب أو اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة للحفاظ على التسجيل.
5. المساعدة في منح الامتياز والتوزيع والترخيص.
6. يقدم المشورة للأعمال بشأن جميع جوانب الملكية الفكرية مثل تخليص العلامة التجارية وحقوق النشر، وحماية العلامة التجارية وإنفاذها، وجوانب الملكية الفكرية للمشاريع الجديدة، والحملات التسويقية وإطلاق المنتجات.
