Senior Accountant
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, deferrals, and accruals, to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile Bank Statements, Account Receivables, and Account Payables, and investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Maintain and reconcile the Inter-company activities.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data and reports.
- Cash Flow Management and Reporting.
- Prepare and file Tax Returns (VAT).
- Audit Support, including the preparation of the necessary documentation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports by accounting principles and regulations.
- Conduct financial, variance, and trend analyzes to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls. Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
- Implement best practices and automation tools to improve accuracy and productivity.
- Contribute to financial planning and strategic decision-making, providing financial insights, conducting financial modeling, and evaluating investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, and management, to provide financial guidance, support business initiatives, and drive financial objectives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' minimum of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- A strong foundation in finance, accounting principles, and knowledge of financial statements.
- ACCA qualification preferred
