Lead PHP Developer

- We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Lead PHP developer with a strategic mindset who can provide technical guidance, and overseeing the end-to-end development process to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions with a hands on high-quality code development work. Take charge, help us in taking the architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and driving innovation to optimize our PHP-based project. Lead the PHP development efforts, bringing a wealth of experience to inspire and guide the team, fostering a collaborative environment for efficient project execution. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for all phases of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
The Lead PHP Developer will:
- formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users
- develop REST API for dashboard and mobile application (for partners and clients)
- create integration with third-party systems via API and SDK
- use code coverage with unit and integration tests
- deploy to production via Jenkins
- participate in the discussion of tasks and projects
- compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with team members and assist in education and training junior developers
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with PHP (version 8.1+ is good to have), MySQL and Git
- previous experience mentoring and leading technical teams
- 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of OOP, strong knowledge of basic programming patterns, PHP-FIG PSR
- standards and Composer
- Strong skills in Linux
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful web APIs
- Experience in writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- English language level Intermediate +
