Marine Inspector is responsible to ensure the safety of vessels and their crews by conducting on-site inspections of vessels, equipment, and crew qualifications. Also, the inspector is concerned in Verifying vessel documentation and licenses are current and valid. Enforce all applicable laws, regulations, and standards that relate to the safe operation and design of vessels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety of vessels and their crews by conducting on-site inspections of vessels, equipment, and crew qualifications.
- Verify vessel documentation and licenses are current and valid.
- Enforce all applicable laws, regulations, and standards that relate to the safe operation and design of vessels.
- Investigate accidents and environmental incidents involving vessels.
- Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings and recommendations for corrective action.
- Monitor vessel construction projects to verify compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Train vessel personnel on safety procedures and regulations.
- Monitor environmental effects of vessels and recommend appropriate changes to operations or design.
- Work with vessel owners and operators to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide technical advice to vessel owners and operators on safety issues.

المفتش البحري مسؤول عن ضمان سلامة السفن وأطقمها من خلال إجراء عمليات تفتيش في الموقع للسفن والمعدات ومؤهلات الطاقم. كما يهتم المفتش بالتحقق من أن وثائق السفينة وتراخيصها حديثة وصالحة. إنفاذ جميع القوانين واللوائح والمعايير المعمول بها والتي تتعلق بالتشغيل الآمن وتصميم السفن.
المسؤوليات:
- ضمان سلامة السفن وأطقمها من خلال إجراء عمليات تفتيش موقعية للسفن والمعدات ومؤهلات الطاقم.
- التحقق من أن وثائق السفينة وتراخيصها حديثة وصالحة.
- إنفاذ جميع القوانين واللوائح والمعايير المعمول بها والتي تتعلق بالتشغيل الآمن وتصميم السفن.
- التحقيق في الحوادث والحوادث البيئية التي تتعرض لها السفن.
- إعداد تقارير مفصلة عن نتائج التفتيش وتوصيات الإجراءات التصحيحية.
- مراقبة مشاريع بناء السفن للتحقق من الامتثال للوائح والمعايير المعمول بها.
- تدريب أفراد السفينة على إجراءات ولوائح السلامة.
- مراقبة التأثيرات البيئية للسفن والتوصية بالتغييرات المناسبة للعمليات أو التصميم.
- العمل مع مالكي السفن ومشغليها لضمان الامتثال للوائح ذات الصلة.
- تقديم المشورة الفنية لأصحاب السفن ومشغليها بشأن قضايا السلامة.
