Junior Instrument Designer
About the job
- The role of Junior Instrumentation Designer is to carry out day to day Instrumentation engineering and design activities in an assigned project. The Junior Designer reports functionally to the Department Manager and operationally to one or more Lead Engineers / Lead Designer. The understanding of the technical requirements of the project, standards are crucial.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the senior designer in Instrumentation design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards
- Ability to Analyze & understand Client requirements
- Ability to develop Bills of Materials
- SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling or 2D Drafting
- Installation layouts (Instrument Location layouts, Air distribution, Main Cable Routing, Secondary cable tray). Building Layouts (Control Room Equipment layout, Earthing layout, Telecom layout). Instrument standard installation / Hookups and Cable block diagram.
- Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI
- Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management
- Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
- Participate in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out
- Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
- Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas

عن العمل
- يتمثل دور مصمم الأجهزة المبتدئ في تنفيذ أنشطة هندسة وتصميم الأجهزة اليومية في مشروع معين. يقدم المصمم المبتدئ تقاريره وظيفيًا إلى مدير القسم ومن الناحية التشغيلية إلى واحد أو أكثر من المهندسين الرئيسيين / المصمم الرئيسي. فهم المتطلبات الفنية للمشروع والمعايير أمر بالغ الأهمية.
- المسؤوليات
- مساعدة كبير المصممين في أنشطة تصميم الأجهزة من خلال تطوير الرسومات في الوقت المناسب وفقًا لمعايير جودة المشروع والشركة
- القدرة على تحليل وفهم متطلبات العميل
- القدرة على تطوير فواتير المواد
- SPI، PDS، PDMS، SP3D النمذجة ثلاثية الأبعاد أو الصياغة ثنائية الأبعاد

- رسم الحلقة ومخطط الأسلاك ثنائي الأبعاد وكذلك في SPI
- يضمن الاتصالات الفعالة بين التخصصات الهندسية الأخرى وإدارة المشاريع
- التنسيق داخل أعضاء الانضباط والتخصصات الهندسية الأخرى داخل المنظمة أو فريق المشروع وكذلك مع العملاء والأطراف الثالثة والبائعين وما إلى ذلك.
- المشاركة في اجتماعات مراجعة التقدم وكن على دراية بحالة المشروع والتقدم والتأخير وإشعارات التغيير وقياس الأداء والدروس المستفادة والإغلاق
- يتحمل المسؤولية الشخصية عن السلامة والبيئة الصحية في المشاريع
