About the job
- We are looking for an organized and creative videographer to work with our creative team to plan, film, and edit video content according to client briefs.
- The videographer's responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set, and editing film footage.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and film live events, short films, and ad shoots.
- Operate video cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
- Design, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
- Computer edits video segments on a variety of tape and digital formats.
- Ensure all filming equipment is ready and in proper working order.
- Understand client briefs, offering creative feedback.
- Discuss ideas with the Creative team before filming.
- Ensure filming in proper lighting and audio clarity with perfect lens choice.
- Contact and negotiate with suppliers for equipment, products, and services.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with the video camera.
- Clean and disassemble hardware such as tripod, lighting, and gimbal.
- Maintain and update equipment inventory.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency with editing software such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
- Proficiency with camera equipment.
- Knowledge of different motion picture techniques.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Must know computerized tape editing software and equipment.
- Understand post-production techniques.
- Passion—they have to be all about getting the shot.
- Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform audio and video equipment repairs.
- Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting, and associated production equipment.
