Product Manager, FinTech - Payments

- Payments are a complex, competitive, and exciting industry. As a Product Manager in Payments Connectivity, you will be working together with engineering, design and data science teams on creating payments solutions that help our partners grow their business. The scope is massive: 50+ countries, hundreds of thousands of partners, and billions of dollars in payments volume.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working with our partners as well as payment management systems around the world helping them collect payments
- Deeply understand the problems that hotels (and other partner types) have and translating those problems into business requirements
- Creating and owning a portfolio of APIs regarding payments and payment solutions
- Create a compelling vision that explains how the future will look like for partners using Payments by Booking. Collaborate with other product leaders on articulating the product strategy based on customer and market insights;
- Work closely with engineering, data science and product design teams to define and ship products that solve problems for our partners and for Booking.com;
- Define the KPIs for the product, and be the ultimate responsible for its success.
Required
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ yrs of relevant experience in Product manager role.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation;
- Proficiency in product discovery and product delivery techniques;
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, and a basic technical understanding of how large-scale systems are built.
Preferred
- Experience building APIs and other backend services
- Experience building products from the ground up and launching them successfully
- Experience in technical product management with many cross functional teams;
- Payments and/or fintech experience.
