- DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for CDZ Operations Specialist in Bahrain. In this specific position you will be responsible to support administration of customs and trade compliance activities to provide clearance of freight documentation through the relevant customs authorities in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines, and policies.

In this CDZ Operations Specialist position
- You will have to execute customs and trade compliance plans and processes to optimize service and cost performance in the customs clearance activities
- You will contribute to planning and directing flow of air and surface traffic to/ from foreign destinations to ensure customs clearance is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- You monitor shipped items, shipping validity dates and debits and duties/ tariffs at government institutions
- You will execute customs entries, categorize goods based on information provided by customers and undertake customs security filing
- You will close out post clearance modification, execute inbound and outbound documentation, archive customs documents and record customs shipment information and physical status
- You will calculate duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of merchandise exported/ imported to/ from foreign destinations
- You will impart guidance on pricing and margin, support on bids, RFQs and customer presentations
- You will resolve customer issues and appropriately resolve incidents such as escalations/ disputes raised by internal or external customers
- You will have to stay updated with latest regulation changes and achieve adherence to compliance standards, legal requirements and import/ export control legislation
- You will pursue activities for issuing and controlling import licenses, and processes and controls of the export area
- You will collaborate with counterparts in customs authorities and government bodies for running smooth operations and to meet regulatory compliance
- You will participate to develop and implement workflow models between central customs operations and transactional operations teams
- You will study and resolve issues in day-to-day delivery, and implement practices and quality standards for customs focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency, and controlling costs
- You will have to do research, identify and obtain the permits, licenses, and certificates required for customs clearance and general customs formalities
- You will have to advice customers on legal (e.g. trade compliance - shipments to sanctioned countries) and customs topics
- Now, Here’s What We Need From You
- Minimum 4 yeasr of experience.
- Excellent communicator in English and Arabic both written and oral.
- Deep knowledge of forwarding business.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience of working with Saudi customs.

- سيتعين عليك تنفيذ خطط وعمليات الامتثال الجمركي والتجاري لتحسين أداء الخدمة والتكلفة في أنشطة التخليص الجمركي
- ستساهم في تخطيط وتوجيه تدفق حركة المرور الجوية والسطحية من/إلى الوجهات الأجنبية لضمان اكتمال التخليص الجمركي في الوقت المناسب وبطريقة فعالة.
- يمكنك مراقبة العناصر المشحونة وتواريخ صلاحية الشحن والديون والرسوم/التعريفات في المؤسسات الحكومية
- ستقوم بتنفيذ الإدخالات الجمركية وتصنيف البضائع بناءً على المعلومات المقدمة من العملاء وإجراء حفظ الأمن الجمركي
- ستقوم بإغلاق تعديل ما بعد التخليص، وتنفيذ الوثائق الواردة والصادرة، وأرشفة المستندات الجمركية، وتسجيل معلومات الشحنة الجمركية والحالة المادية
- سوف تقوم بحساب الرسوم الجمركية والتعريفات وتحويلات الأسعار ووزن وحجم البضائع المصدرة/المستوردة إلى/من الوجهات الأجنبية
- ستقدم إرشادات بشأن التسعير والهامش ودعم العطاءات وطلبات عروض الأسعار والعروض التقديمية للعملاء
- ستحل مشكلات العملاء وتحل بشكل مناسب حوادث مثل التصعيد/النزاعات التي يثيرها العملاء الداخليون أو الخارجيون
- سيتعين عليك البقاء على اطلاع بأحدث التغييرات التنظيمية وتحقيق الالتزام بمعايير الامتثال والمتطلبات القانونية وتشريعات مراقبة الاستيراد / التصدير
- ستتابع أنشطة إصدار ومراقبة تراخيص الاستيراد والعمليات والضوابط في منطقة التصدير
- سوف تتعاون مع نظرائك في السلطات الجمركية والهيئات الحكومية لإدارة العمليات بسلاسة وتلبية الامتثال التنظيمي
- ستشارك في تطوير وتنفيذ نماذج سير العمل بين عمليات الجمارك المركزية وفرق عمليات المعاملات
