Overview
- You will be responsible defining the global warehouse-related commercial agenda, ensuring actions to optimize business value with external partners by leading major procurements, defining global commercial approaches and guidelines also leading the work to ensure compliant Procurement, Vendor and Contract Management globally.
You will:
- Lead the work to develop, implement and follow-up warehouse-related category strategies for major spend, risk and strategic areas (3PL, Lease, MHE etc.) in collaboration with key central and regional stakeholders.
- Establish commercial guidelines, templates and processes for global and regional teams.
- Be responsible for qualitative execution of centrally led warehouse-related procurement activities, ensuring key stakeholder involvement in the procurement process.
- Develop and maintain the governance model and approval process for the warehouse-related spend categories based on defined thresholds ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Lead the collaboration with regional warehouse commercial teams, identifying cross-regional synergies and providing support in commercial topics upon request or according to agreed threshold.
- Lead work to ensure and support in adherence to standards and guidelines across procurement, contract and vendor management for warehouse-related suppliers globally.

You will:
- Lead the engineering stream across new warehouse projects, from concept to completion, ensuring optimal goods flow, MHE, and automation systems.
- Take charge of developing and executing the design and automation roadmap for existing warehouses, including maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with logistics hardware suppliers, both existing and new.
- Be responsible for defining and documenting the architectural requirements and dependencies between building and operations, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
- Provide expert advice and support on logistics automation topics, both strategic and operational, to regional and global stakeholders.
- Keep track of the latest trends and innovations in the warehouse and automation sector and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
