Job Description
General Description: Under general supervision is responsible for performing a variety of routine laboratory tests in support of production and R&D efforts. Some travel is required.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Harsco Lab Technician is responsible for assisting the Quality Dept. in the overall quality of all products produced at various Harsco sites by assisting or performing the following responsibilities:
- Analysis of various process plant streams for various parameters like moisture, salt content ph, conductivity etc & advice the Shift Controller for further actions.
- Analysis of various consignments of Chemical receivables, acids, bases & disposal streams.
- Analysis of Stack emissions & adhere to regulatory levels & reporting.
- Sample collections as per set standards with full personal protection.
- Work on lab equipment’s like Ovens, Moisture analyzers, scales & associated glassware.
- Assist in plant startup/shutdown & troubleshooting of two lines of wet processing plant & associated common systems by timely analysis & advice to the shift team.
- Analysis of hazardous gas related systems & chemicals.
- Interpretation of chemical analysis & action accordingly.
- Adhere to company safety & operational procedures.
- Recording of analytical data & interpret the health of process & initiate action.
- Authorize for maintenance of equipment as per the work permit & LOTO procedures.
- Flexibility in covering other operational roles.

Semi Product handling & arrangement & Yard controlling, maintenance and other onsite steel plant services to their fully integrated facility at Hidd plant since 2012.
Job Description
- Scope of Work: Sorting and loading semi-finish product (Billet) materials on the trailer by 30 tons magnet overhead crane in Mill Shop.
- Manning Level: Overhead Crane 30 tons.
1. Purpose of the Position:
- Ensure that all crane & equipment used operate safely & within the quality standards. Ensure productivity for the plant is within financial and legislative framework, and with minimum disruption to the Environment.
Detailed Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operators to ensure that they follow the approved Standard Operating Procedures in a safe manner
- To clearly communicate the key performance indicators from his seniors and ensure the targets are achieved.
- Ensure that House Keeping standards are maintained
- Report all safety deviations/defects on equipment immediately
- Ensure the cranes & lifting equipment safety inspected.
- Ensure all crane requirements within the section’s scope are met
- Follow the Schedule the shipping according to the priority schedule
- Assist Maintenance Dept. with all breakdown work & preventative maintenance.
- Ensuring the requirements of the company’s QHSE Integrated Management System complies with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
- Carries out any other task assigned by the Supervisor, Superintendent and Manager Logistics & PPC.

الواجبات والمسؤوليات: فني مختبر Harsco مسؤول عن مساعدة قسم الجودة في الجودة الشاملة لجميع المنتجات المنتجة في مواقع Harsco المختلفة من خلال المساعدة أو أداء المسؤوليات التالية:
- تحليل تدفقات محطة المعالجة المختلفة لمعلمات مختلفة مثل الرطوبة ومحتوى الملح ودرجة الحموضة والموصلية وما إلى ذلك وتقديم المشورة لوحدة التحكم في التحول لاتخاذ مزيد من الإجراءات.
- تحليل الشحنات المختلفة من المستحقات الكيميائية والأحماض والقواعد ومجاري التخلص.
- تحليل انبعاثات المكدس والالتزام بالمستويات التنظيمية وإعداد التقارير.
- جمع العينات حسب المعايير المحددة مع الحماية الشخصية الكاملة.

- تحليل الأنظمة والمواد الكيميائية المتعلقة بالغازات الخطرة.
- تفسير التحليل الكيميائي والعمل وفقا لذلك.
- الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة والتشغيل الخاصة بالشركة.
- تسجيل البيانات التحليلية وتفسير صحة العملية وبدء العمل.
- التفويض بصيانة المعدات وفقًا لتصريح العمل وإجراءات LOTO.
