Requirements
- Proficient in Python with hands-on experience in Docker, FastAPI, and Kafka.
- Focus on backend development, specifically providing REST endpoints.
- Responsible for processing and persisting data from Kafka Topics into databases within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with GCP and GitHub actions/workflows, supported by an experienced DevOps developer in the team.

DevOps Engineer/SRE

Job description
- Ensure the reliability of our software systems by designing and implementing robust and scalable infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
- Set up monitoring systems to track system performance and health. Configure alerts to proactively detect and respond to issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to system incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions quickly.
- Collaborate with other teams to forecast and plan for system scalability and resource requirements.
- Identify bottlenecks and performance issues in the infrastructure and work on solutions to improve system efficiency.
- Ensure system security through regular audits, patch management, and adherence to security best practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Work closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of reliability and stability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Java, TypeScript, Shell, Python, Go).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of coding skills such as Java, Kotlin, and others.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms. Preferably GCP.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform.
- Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Excellent command in English.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Preferably GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Previous experience in a similar SRE role.
