Position Objective:
- We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Assessment Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our academic programs.
- The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of assessment strategies, ensuring alignment between learning outcomes, teaching & learning methodologies, and assessments as well as reporting on learning outcomes achievement for quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education) is required, with significant relevant experience.
- Candidates with additional certifications and/or research in the field of academic assessment and/or quality assurance in higher education preferred.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of curriculum standards, accreditation standards, assessment, and quality assurance procedures in higher education.
- Experience in designing and developing curricula and assessments for similar programs, with a track record of teaching/delivering training to a high standard.
- Ability to facilitate technology integration, information, communication, and organize professional development training.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Excellent computer literacy is required (e.g., MS Office, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate groups of subject specialists in the development and review of high-quality assessment materials.
- Contribute to the improvement of quality assurance mechanisms for materials used in the Academic Department.
- Collate feedback from faculty, Academic Coordinators, and other stakeholders to enhance the quality and rigor of materials and assessments.
- Promote cross-curricular development and ensure the use of standardized templates across all work streams.
- Utilize quality assurance policies and procedures in curriculum and assessment development and implementation.
- Maintain records of quality group involvement, ensuring deadlines for material provision are met.
- Assist in the development of assessment tools for an outcomes-based curriculum.
- Develop a Program Learning Outcomes’ Assessment Plan and report on its execution.
- Support Academic Coordinators in implementing assessment practices.
- Recommend changes to improve teaching and assessment practices.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Institution/Quality Assurance for other functions as required for the interest of work and in line with the objectives and the nature of the job.

- خبرة في تصميم وتطوير المناهج والتقييمات لبرامج مماثلة، مع سجل حافل من التدريس/تقديم التدريب على مستوى عالٍ.
- القدرة على تسهيل تكامل التكنولوجيا والمعلومات والاتصالات وتنظيم التدريب على التطوير المهني.
- الطلاقة في اللغة الإنجليزية كتابة وتحدثا أمر ضروري.
- مطلوب معرفة جيدة بالكمبيوتر (على سبيل المثال، MS Office، وما إلى ذلك).
المسؤوليات:
- تنسيق مجموعات من المتخصصين في الموضوع في تطوير ومراجعة مواد التقييم عالية الجودة.
- المساهمة في تحسين آليات ضمان الجودة للمواد المستخدمة في القسم الأكاديمي.
- جمع التعليقات من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والمنسقين الأكاديميين وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين لتعزيز جودة ودقة المواد والتقييمات.
- تعزيز التطوير عبر المناهج الدراسية والتأكد من استخدام القوالب الموحدة عبر جميع مسارات العمل.
- الاستفادة من سياسات وإجراءات ضمان الجودة في تطوير المناهج والتقييم وتنفيذها.
- الاحتفاظ بسجلات مشاركة المجموعة عالية الجودة، وضمان الوفاء بالمواعيد النهائية لتوفير المواد.
- المساعدة في تطوير أدوات التقييم للمنهج القائم على النتائج.
- تطوير خطة تقييم نتائج التعلم للبرنامج وتقديم تقرير عن تنفيذها.
- دعم المنسقين الأكاديميين في تنفيذ ممارسات التقييم.
- التوصية بالتغييرات لتحسين ممارسات التدريس والتقييم.
- القيام بأي واجبات أخرى يكلفه بها رئيس المؤسسة/ضمان الجودة لوظائف أخرى حسبما تقتضيه مصلحة العمل وبما يتماشى مع أهداف وطبيعة الوظيفة.
