About the role:
- Aave is looking for a staff Move engineer to innovate and build upon our various products and services. You should have a strong passion for web3 technology and an understanding of smart contract development and blockchain systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and writing smart contracts in Move. You will also be interacting with smart contracts in solidity and other EVM based networks. You will work closely with the Avara leadership, product and technical teams.
How you can make an impact:
- Designing, crafting, and testing secure Move based smart contracts
- Participating in the development of protocol-level infrastructure and tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionality
- Responding to security vulnerabilities, simulating the scenario, and evaluating a strategy and response
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during the development process
- Reviewing code written by other engineers to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications with a focus on security
- Staying up to date with developments in the Web3 ecosystem and incorporating new technologies as appropriate
- Providing technical guidance, support, and mentoring to other engineers as needed
