Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Saleslady/Cashier to join our team, a leading homeware retail shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing EXCELLENT customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. Key responsibilities include:
Customer Assistance:
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Provide product knowledge and guidance based on customer needs.
- Ensure a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers.
Cash Handling:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain cash register and reconcile daily sales.
Store Maintenance:
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues.
Bilingual Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively in English and basic Arabic.
Assist Arabic-speaking customers with their inquiries and purchases.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail and cashier roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English and basic Arabic.
- Knowledge or interest in homeware and home decor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Salary:
Total salary of BD 250 per month.
