Job Summary
- To interpret and perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures within the scope of Dept. The radiology services are provided in MRI, CT, Mammogram, Ultrasound and other modalities. The service includes: plain film, GI studies, non- invasive procedures, CT, ultrasound, MRI. Administrative support is provided by the head of the Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a diagnostic radiologist.
- Interprets general radiological examinations, fluoroscopy, special procedures, ultrasound, CT, and MRI scans.
- Independently reports MRI & CT Images.
- Participates in Physician conferences and rounds.
- Collaborates with other Physicians on special projects.
- Works with technologists and instructs them in specialized views and positioning of patients.
- Participates in the Quality Improvement program for JCI accreditation standards.
- Engages in teaching technologists and medical education for Physicians and trainees.
- Performs duties in women/men imaging as required.
- Ensures compliance with medical records formalities per NHRA & JCI regulations.
Education and Qualification:
- Graduate in General Medicine from a recognized medical school with post-graduation in Master’s Degree specialized in Radiodiagnosis OR fellowship in a Western qualification OR Arab Board certification, as specified by NHRA policies, for a Specialist license.
- Must hold a valid license and meet NHRA criteria in Bahrain.
- Participation in CPD programs, including BLS & CME activities, is mandatory.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of four years' experience in a similar position.

- يشارك في برنامج تحسين الجودة لمعايير اعتماد اللجنة المشتركة الدولية.
- يشارك في تدريس التقنيين والتعليم الطبي للأطباء والمتدربين.
- يؤدي واجبات في تصوير النساء والرجال كما هو مطلوب.
- يضمن الامتثال لإجراءات السجلات الطبية وفقًا للوائح NHRA واللجنة المشتركة الدولية.
تعليم وتاهيل:
- خريج في الطب العام من كلية طب معترف بها مع درجة ما بعد التخرج في درجة الماجستير المتخصصة في التشخيص الإشعاعي أو الزمالة في المؤهل الغربي أو شهادة البورد العربي، على النحو المحدد في سياسات الهيئة الوطنية لتنظيم المهن والخدمات الصحية، للحصول على ترخيص متخصص.
- يجب أن يحمل ترخيصًا ساريًا ويلبي معايير NHRA في البحرين.
- تعد المشاركة في برامج التطوير المهني المستمر، بما في ذلك أنشطة BLS وCME، إلزامية.
