About the Role:
- As a QA Specialist at BEYON Connect, you will be an essential part of our QA team that are responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of our developed software products and platforms. You also be mentored by the QA Manager, who will provide you with the necessary guidance to ensure your success.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Write API, web and mobile automation test scripts using open-source automation tools.
- Maintain and execute API automation regression test suite with object-oriented approach, analyze automated test results, troubleshoot any automation flakiness and performance in each release cycle.
- Conduct performance testing of the applications using open-source tool.
- Reviewing of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback through testing.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system.
- Conduct testing on web and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases using the tool.
- Identify, document, and track the bugs thoroughly using the tool.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and to ensure the stability of the application.
Our Testing tools includes the following:
- Azure Test Plans for test case management.
- Azure DevOps for bug management and CI/CD pipelines.
- Cypress for frond-end web automation.
- Supertest/Vitest for API automation and Postman for manual API testing.
- K6 for performance testing.
About you
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualities, experiences, and skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) – ISTQB or ability to achieve certification with three months.
- Strong knowledge of Automation framework development and maintenance using open-source tool.
- Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automation processes in agile development environment.
- Strong object-oriented concepts and implementation.
- Preferably experience with writing, executing, and monitoring automation test suites.
- Knowledge of automation test suites integration in CI/CD pipelines.
- Programming knowledge of JavaScript (or TypeScript).
- Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, testing principles, user interface design principles and usability best practice.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
- Team player and able to work well with others.
- Self-starter and able to work independently.
