About the job

PURPOSE

 Maintains and repairs equipment in Quay crane, RTG sections and mobile equipment.

 Troubleshooting and diagnostics of Cranes (STS and RTG), heavy and light terminal equipment

Education:

• Requires a high school diploma or higher and additional vocational/technical training in both mechanical/hydraulic fields in any heavy industries and specific technical knowledge of maintenance and repair of quay cranes, rubber-tired gantry cranes

Experience:

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Port/heavy industry as a mechanical technician in Cranes, Steel industry, ship repair yard, or other big industrial companies.

Specialized Knowledge:

1. Requires specific technical knowledge in the maintenance and repair of quay cranes, rubber tyred gantry cranes and spreaders.
2. Experienced in Diesel engine overhauling, trouble shooting and maintenance.
3. Experienced in Hydraulic systems overhauling, trouble shooting and maintenance.
4. Experience in Gearbox overhauling and Diagnosis.
5. Experience in replace/repair/adjust major mechanical/hydraulic parts such as brakes, wire-ropes, trolley, gantry wheels, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, couplings, and so forth.
6. Hands on experience on Major mechanical overhauls for at least 2 years.
7. Requires an ability to be responsive to emergency breakdowns and repairs, and continuing with the assignment until finished, with quality workmanship and service.
8. Basic electrical/electronic knowledge.

Skills:

• Requires ability to interpret mechanical/electrical and electronic diagrams.
• ability to interpret Hydraulic circuits diagrams.
• Understand Basic safety job requirements
• Requires elementary 3 level verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Requires good interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to exercise good judgment in order to set priorities.

تعليم:

• يتطلب شهادة الدراسة الثانوية أو التدريب المهني / الفني العالي والإضافي في كل من المجالات الميكانيكية / الهيدروليكية في أي صناعات ثقيلة ومعرفة فنية محددة بصيانة وإصلاح رافعات الرصيف والرافعات الجسرية ذات الإطارات المطاطية

خبرة:

• - خبرة لا تقل عن 5 إلى 7 سنوات في مجال الموانئ/الصناعات الثقيلة كفني ميكانيكي في الرافعات أو صناعة الصلب أو ساحة إصلاح السفن أو غيرها من الشركات الصناعية الكبرى.

معرفة تخصصية:

1. يتطلب معرفة فنية محددة في صيانة وإصلاح رافعات الرصيف والرافعات الجسرية ذات الإطارات المطاطية والموزعات.
2. - خبرة في إصلاح محركات الديزل وحل الأعطال والصيانة.
3. - خبرة في إصلاح الأنظمة الهيدروليكية واستكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها والصيانة.
4. خبرة في إصلاح وتشخيص علبة التروس.
5. خبرة في استبدال / إصلاح / ضبط الأجزاء الميكانيكية / الهيدروليكية الرئيسية مثل الفرامل والحبال السلكية والعربة والعجلات العملاقة والأنظمة الهيدروليكية وعلب التروس والوصلات وما إلى ذلك.
6. - خبرة عملية في الإصلاحات الميكانيكية الكبرى لمدة عامين على الأقل.
7. يتطلب القدرة على الاستجابة للأعطال والإصلاحات الطارئة، والاستمرار في المهمة حتى الانتهاء، بجودة صنعة وخدمة.
8. المعرفة الكهربائية / الإلكترونية الأساسية.

مهارات:

• يتطلب القدرة على تفسير المخططات الميكانيكية / الكهربائية والإلكترونية.
• القدرة على تفسير مخططات الدوائر الهيدروليكية.
• فهم متطلبات وظيفة السلامة الأساسية
• يتطلب مهارات الاتصال الشفهية والكتابية للمستوى الثالث الابتدائي باللغة الإنجليزية.
• يتطلب مهارات جيدة في التعامل مع الآخرين.
• يجب أن تكون قادرًا على ممارسة الحكم الجيد من أجل تحديد الأولويات.
