- Our client is an Engineering Consultancy based in the Middle East, looking to recruit Marine & Coastal Engineering Project Manager with a minimum of 8+ years related work experience, a broad general engineering background, and previous Bahrain design and construction management experience on similar or related project types is required.
The prospective applicants will be shortlisted if they meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Masters or PhD degree in marine and/or coastal engineering would be preferable.
- Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer registration is preferable at this level.
- Experience in managing marine projects.
- Experience in Infrastructure/utilities projects will be added advantage.
- Previously responsible for the overall direction & management for design and/or construction supervision contracts.
- A history of ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
- The PM is responsible for Contract activities and commercial performances to meet project goals & objectives.
- Construction industry practices/safety/quality management systems. Good knowledge of design processes and systems.
- Experience in marine and coastal engineering applications in the Middle East.
- Thorough knowledge of current technology; must be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.
- High level of critical thinking, numerical and literacy skills in English.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy.

- عميلنا هو شركة استشارات هندسية مقرها في الشرق الأوسط، وتتطلع إلى تعيين مدير مشروع الهندسة البحرية والساحلية مع خبرة عمل ذات صلة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات، وخلفية هندسية عامة واسعة، وخبرة سابقة في التصميم وإدارة الإنشاءات في البحرين في مجالات مماثلة أو ذات صلة. أنواع المشاريع مطلوبة.
سيتم إدراج المتقدمين المحتملين في القائمة المختصرة إذا استوفوا المعايير التالية:
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو ما يعادلها. يفضل الحصول على درجة الماجستير أو الدكتوراه في الهندسة البحرية و/أو الساحلية.
- يفضل تسجيل مهندس معتمد أو مهندس محترف في هذا المستوى.
- خبرة في إدارة المشاريع البحرية.
- ستكون الخبرة في مشاريع البنية التحتية / المرافق ميزة إضافية.
- كان مسؤولاً سابقًا عن التوجيه العام والإدارة لعقود التصميم و/أو الإشراف على البناء.
- تاريخ لضمان الإنجاز في الموعد المحدد ضمن الميزانية أو أقل منها وفقًا للالتزامات التعاقدية.
- مدير المشروع مسؤول عن أنشطة العقد والعروض التجارية لتحقيق أهداف وغايات المشروع.
- ممارسات صناعة البناء / أنظمة إدارة السلامة / الجودة. معرفة جيدة بعمليات وأنظمة التصميم.
- خبرة في تطبيقات الهندسة البحرية والساحلية في الشرق الأوسط.
- معرفة شاملة بالتكنولوجيا الحالية؛ يجب أن يكون قادرًا على اختيار وتطبيق البرامج الهندسية المناسبة لاستخدامها في المشروع.
- مستوى عالٍ من التفكير النقدي والمهارات العددية والقراءة والكتابة باللغة الإنجليزية.
- مهارات التفاوض الجيدة.
- القدرة على العمل في منظمة مصفوفة.
- مهارات التواصل اللفظي الواضحة.
- مستوى عال من المعرفة بالكمبيوتر.
