Job Responsibilities:
- Provide correct, timely and updated Shariah advice and documentation review to address the needs of business.
- Engage with the relevant business segment teams and with the external counsels in addressing the Shariah related concerns with reference to Islamic finance structures and documentation.
- Liaise with the Shariah Board members on a regular basis to seek Shariah issues clarifications on Islamic finance structures and documentation.
- Organise, prepare submissions for and host the Shariah Supervisory Board meetings, and finalize the minutes of the meetings.
- Review the structures and documentation and update and submit to the Shariah Board accordingly.
- Provide on a regular basis Islamic finance training to relevant teams within the institution. Prepare the digital training content on Islamic finance.
- Conduct annual Shariah Audit for each Business under the guidance of the Shariah Board and produce the Shariah Audit Report.
- Engage with business and work closely to analyze, research and develop new Islamic finance products and services.
Qualification And Experience Requirements
- Having a master’s or at least a bachelor’s degree in law with 5+ PQE active working experience on the Islamic finance documentation, and:
- Have studied Usul Fiqh (the origin of Islamic law) and/or Fiqh Muamalat (Islamic jurisprudence);
- Possess strong proficiency in Arabic;
- Have appropriate level of knowledge in Islamic Finance and Shari’a principles; received AAOIFI’s Certified Shari’a Advisor & Auditor (CSAA) qualification;
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the banking industry and the regulatory environment;
- Received BIBF’s Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance qualification; or Advanced Diploma in Islamic Commercial Jurisprudence (ADICJ).

- تقديم المشورة الشرعية الصحيحة وفي الوقت المناسب والمحدثة ومراجعة الوثائق لتلبية احتياجات العمل. الانخراط مع فرق قطاع الأعمال ذات الصلة ومع المستشارين الخارجيين في معالجة المخاوف المتعلقة بالشريعة فيما يتعلق بهياكل ووثائق التمويل الإسلامي.
- التواصل مع أعضاء الهيئة الشرعية بشكل منتظم للحصول على توضيحات حول المسائل الشرعية حول هياكل ووثائق التمويل الإسلامي. تنظيم وإعداد التقارير الخاصة باجتماعات هيئة الرقابة الشرعية واستضافتها، وتحرير محاضر الاجتماعات. مراجعة الهياكل والتوثيق وتحديثها ورفعها إلى الهيئة الشرعية وفقاً لذلك.
- توفير التدريب على التمويل الإسلامي بشكل منتظم للفرق ذات الصلة داخل المؤسسة. إعداد المحتوى التدريبي الرقمي حول التمويل الإسلامي.
- إجراء التدقيق الشرعي السنوي لكل شركة تحت إشراف الهيئة الشرعية وإصدار تقرير التدقيق الشرعي.
- الانخراط في الأعمال التجارية والعمل بشكل وثيق لتحليل وبحث وتطوير منتجات وخدمات التمويل الإسلامي الجديدة.
متطلبات المؤهلات والخبرة
- الحصول على درجة الماجستير أو على الأقل درجة البكالوريوس في القانون مع خبرة عمل نشطة تزيد عن 5 PQE في وثائق التمويل الإسلامي، و:
- لقد درست أصول الفقه (أصل الشريعة الإسلامية) و/أو فقه المعاملات (الفقه الإسلامي)؛
- تمتلك كفاءة قوية في اللغة العربية.
- أن يكون لديه مستوى مناسب من المعرفة في التمويل الإسلامي ومبادئ الشريعة. حصل على شهادة المستشار والمدقق الشرعي المعتمد من أيوفي (CSAA).
- إظهار فهم جيد للصناعة المصرفية والبيئة التنظيمية.
- حصل على الدبلوم المتقدم من معهد BIBF في مؤهل التمويل الإسلامي. أو الدبلوم المتقدم في الفقه التجاري الإسلامي (ADICJ).
