Qualification:
B.Sc. Engineering / M.Sc. in Production Operations Management / or comparable qualification
Experience:
7+ Years’ Experience in Production Engineering
Industry:
Signage / Manufacturing / Fabrication
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Responsible for efficiently managing, planning, and organizing production schedules.
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Provide guidance for estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and sales staff.
- Ensures planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
- To participate in all the stages of production in the factory of a company.
- Create a time-bound production schedule and make sure that the manufacturing is timely and standardized.
- To undertake training of the production team members and update the company's production facilities to maximize output.
- To come up with ways for enhancing the production of goods and, thereby, increasing the sales and profit margins of the organization.
- This includes taking decisions regarding the purchase of equipment and machinery for the production unit.
- Apart from the cost of the machinery, we shall make sure that the machinery is state-of-the-art and meets industrial standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and respect for individuals.
- Follow the systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain production control records and provide information to sales representatives, customers, and management with regard to delivery dates, schedules, and operating problem.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are being followed by all production staff.
- Creating and enforcing quality control standards.
- Monitoring the factory operations.
- Taking corrective action as and when required.
- Resolving any factory-related issues.
