Description
- Our client, an Investment Management company, is preparing a proposal for a consultancy engagement in a Middle Eastern country and is looking for an Expert in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Ministries.
- The ultimate goal of this project is to elaborate an Enterprise Risk Management Framework for a sectorial Ministry of the country.
- The planned start date of the project is mid-April 2024.
- Other important information about the project:
- Dedication (hours/days per week): 1 day per week (although it is subject to negotiation depending on the current availability of the expert)
- Mode of work: Remote (if there is availability it would be nice to come to a meeting in Qatar, to be discussed at later stages and all expenses paid by our client
Role of the SME:
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team in the following main activities:
- Assess the Ministry's existing risk management (ERM) framework and capabilities, conducting a gap analysis to identify gaps between the current and desired state for risk management
- Elaborate on the ERM Governance and ERM Framework including risk evaluation and acceptance criteria
- Undertake a risk assessment exercise based on the elaborated ERM framework
- Conduct a Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
- Elaborate the Enterprise Risk Treatment Plan (ERTP)
Deliverable of the project /Team set up
- The expert will report to the director and manager of the project, who are here in Spain, working remotely and potentially traveling occasionally to Qatar to meet the client
Professional background
- 10 years of previous experience with Enterprise Risk Management
- A background in the education industry would be nice to have but not necessary

- تقديم التوجيه الفني والدعم لفريق المشروع في الأنشطة الرئيسية التالية:
- تقييم إطار وقدرات إدارة المخاطر الحالية في الوزارة، وإجراء تحليل الفجوات لتحديد الفجوات بين الوضع الحالي والحالة المرغوبة لإدارة المخاطر
- توضيح حوكمة إدارة المخاطر المؤسسية وإطار إدارة المخاطر المؤسسية بما في ذلك تقييم المخاطر ومعايير القبول
- إجراء عملية تقييم المخاطر بناءً على إطار إدارة المخاطر المؤسسية المفصل
- إجراء تحليل تأثير الأعمال (BIA)
- وضع خطة معالجة المخاطر المؤسسية (ERTP)
تسليم المشروع / إعداد الفريق
- سيقدم الخبير تقاريره إلى مدير ومدير المشروع، الموجودين هنا في إسبانيا، ويعملون عن بعد وربما يسافرون أحيانًا إلى قطر لمقابلة العميل.
