Job Purpose:
- Being responsible of providing the actuarial support to the underwriting team, in charge of product development, performing actuarial studies on pricing and reserving relating to the Life and Health line.
Key Accountabilities:
- Pricing business emanating from the markets in cooperation with the underwriters
- Performing actuarial / mathematical studies for updating the pricing basis
- Adjusting the pricing methodology as required
- Setting up and updating the pricing tools as required
- Taking lead in product Development
- Reviewing and updating the pricing guidelines for the various markets
- Reporting activity to the Senior Underwriter (Life) periodically
- Conducting Business profitability analysis
- Participating in the renewal processes of the portfolio
- Organizing seminars and training for clients whenever required
- Taking charge of the continuous development and the deployment of our internal or online pricing tools.
Experience & Qualification:
- BSc degree or MSc degree in actuarial science or in applied mathematics or Econometrics
- Fellow of the society of Actuaries (SOA) or equally recognized institutes or in the process of being qualified.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in (Re)insurance (pricing, technical, products) within the Life and Health.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong command of English and preferably another language
- Attention to detail.
- Strong command of MS/Words/Excel/PowerPoint and MS/Access, MATLAB, SPSS/SAS, C++, VBA or similar.

- إجراء تحليل ربحية الأعمال
- المشاركة في عمليات تجديد المحفظة
- تنظيم الندوات والتدريب للعملاء كلما لزم الأمر
- تولي مسؤولية التطوير المستمر ونشر أدوات التسعير الداخلية أو عبر الإنترنت لدينا.
الخبرة والمؤهلات:
- درجة البكالوريوس أو درجة الماجستير في العلوم الاكتوارية أو في الرياضيات التطبيقية أو الاقتصاد القياسي
- زميل جمعية الاكتواريين (SOA) أو المعاهد المعترف بها على قدم المساواة أو في طور التأهيل.
- - من 5 إلى 8 سنوات من الخبرة في (إعادة) التأمين (التسعير، الفني، المنتجات) في مجال الحياة والصحة.
مهارات:
- مهارات الاتصال والعرض ممتازة
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية ويفضل لغة أخرى
- انتبه للتفاصيل.
- إجادة قوية لـ MS/Words/Excel/PowerPoint وMS/Access أو MATLAB أو SPSS/SAS أو C++ أو VBA أو ما شابه ذلك.
