About the job

• We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Junior IT Developer with a strong interest in Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power BI. This part-time, entry-level position is ideal for tech enthusiasts eager to hone their skills in both app development and data analytics. The successful candidate will be immersed in projects involving the development of Power Apps and the creation of insightful Power BI reports.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps
2. Design and create powerful data visualizations and reports using Power BI
3. Assist in the development and implementation of software solutions using .NET frameworks as needed
4. Perform SQL database querying and management to support app and report development
5. Collaborate with team members on various software development and data analytics projects
6. Participate in code reviews with a focus on enhancing Power Apps and Power BI implementations
7. Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft Power Platform
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft Power Tools, .NET technologies, and data analytics best practices

Requirements

• Qualifications and Experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong interest and foundational skills in Microsoft Power Tools, particularly Power Apps and Power BI
• Basic understanding of .NET programming languages (C#, ASP.NET, etc.)
• Familiarity with SQL and experience in database querying
• Solid problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a rapidly evolving technology landscape
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
