Job Description:
- Working in a rotating shift the candidate operates machines and performs operational housekeeping work while adhering closely to Standard Work Instructions and organizational procedures. Ensure that products and processes meet quality standards.
- Contribute to productivity improvements and participate in the implementation of corrective actions.
- He must have team spirit and be able to interact effectively with others to achieve production and quality targets.
Tasks:
•Candidate operates furnace in a multi-skilled teamwork environment.
•Among others related to the proper metallurgy, candidate, perform cast checklist, preheating tools, cleaning spouts, channels, extraction of samples, check the furnace and other machines parameters, etc.
•Maintain cleanliness of machines during and after shifts.
•Compliance with HSE and SWI.
•Notify and report to the Shift Supervisor about any anomaly.
•Responsible for effective handover to incoming shift.
•Document and record in the logbooks.
•Guarantee correct order of raw materials and proper identification.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of safety while working with molten metal.
• Hands-on experience with furnace preparation, raw material, and casting line.
• Must have experience as a furnace operator / Casting line.
• Should have basic knowledge of computers and be capable of Forklift and OHC driving,
• Should have knowledge in safety-related to molten metal and understanding of JSP& SOP.
• Communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Candidate should be physically fit and capable of working in a tough environment
