PHD Degree in Design, and/or Digital Media, and/orDesign Management or it’s equivalent
Hold the minimum of an Associate Academic rank
At least 2 years of experience in the same capacity or 3 - 5 years of experience as Head of Department of
Art and Design.
Excellent ability to engage with multiple constituencies, including students, Faculty members, staff, and
alumni, as well as leaders in the business, political, social, and governmental sectors locally, nationally,
and internationally
Knowledgeable of relevant professional bodies in Business areas
With academic experience, excellent in teaching or research, and governance
Evidence of collaborative program development
With experience in the effective management and administration functions of a department / unit / centre
in a tertiary environment.
With experience in developing and implementing effective policies and procedures
DESIRED CRITERIA:
Demonstrated understanding of accreditation and qualification framework.
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with and provide leadership for a broad range of stakeholders both on and
off campus.
